The dance department just booked another gig at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium to view another taping of America's Got Talent, on March 23, 2016. We will leave campus at 12:30 pm, and return at approximately 6:45 pm.

For this fundraiser, I will be taking the first 50 students who turn in their completed permission form from periods first, fourth and second. In the event that I need more people, I will extend the invite to other students in other periods.

The date for our Spring Dance Concert is May 12, 2016. It is a Thursday evening at 6:00 pm and will be held in our North Park Academy of the Arts cafetorium. There will many student-choreographed routines so the show will be approximately one hour in length.

This dance concert is mandatory for all dance students. It is part of their final grade and will have a value of 100 points. Call time for the students will be 4:45 pm on the show date. Students are responsible for providing their own costume(s). Each student group will decide an appropriate costume for their dance, and I will post what will be needed for my dances as soon as all decisions are finalized.

We will be participating in a fieldtrip fundraiser on March 3rd, 2016. It will take place at The Pasadena Civic Auditorium, to watch the taping of the show, America's Got Talent. We will leave campus at 12:15 pm and return to campus at approximately at 6:45 pm.

Unfortunately, I can only take 45 students, so we are on a first come, first serve basis. The first 45 to return their fieldtrip slip tomorrow (February 24th, 2016), completely filled out with proper signatures, will be accepted and confirmed to go.

The silver lining is, there will be other trips as this in the near future!

The students who will be attending, must bring plenty of snacks, and a wealth of cooperation.

Our Lancer Dancers are putting on another show to celebrate the holidays on Wednesday, December 16th at 11:30 am, during 6th period, AND Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. Both recitals will take place in the Cafetorium.

 

We would love to see you there!

 

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

All the dance students enrolled in 1st, 2nd, and 5th period Dance, will be performing for the first time. The theme is Halloween! The dates are Wednesday, October 28th, during 6th period AND, Thursday, October 29th, at 6:00 pm. Both performances are in the cafetorium. Please do not miss this wonderful opportunity to watch your child shine on stage!
