Our Halloween show this next Thursday! We will he holding mandatory rehearsals on Monday, October 24th, and Tuesday, October 25th-both are from 3 pm-4 pm, in the cafetorium. We will running the entire show and learning the finale.

An additional performance time has been added to our Halloween Recital. We now have a evening show at 6:00 pm, on October 27, 2016 (Thursday). The recital is approximately one half hour long. Parents can come to any/all shows provided!

Our annual Halloween recital will be on October 27th, during both lunches (1st lunch 11:05-11:39 and 2nd lunch 12:07- 12:41) in the NPAA cafetorium.

 

Parents, I will be holding several afterschool rehearsals and another Saturday school (tba).

 

Dancers, please start putting your costumes together if you haven't done so already!

3rd period dancers that are dolls, all need black capri leggings.

5th period monsters need a combination of black and red clothing. You may mix/match tee shirt tops with leggings.

Maid of Honors/Bridesmaids/Gossip Girls, you will need black dance shorts to wear under the tu-tu's.

This coming Saturday, September 24, 2016, from 8am-12 noon, I will holding rehearsal (Saturday School) for my 5th period dance class, for our upcoming Halloween show....details to follow. Dancers, please bring water and snacks and your wonderful, happy, cooperative self!  We will meet in the cafeteria.

On May 26th, Thursday night, from 5-7pm, all dance students will be performing in NPAA's Spring Showcase. The dances will be paired with the drama class in 15 minute sessions. Dancers will perform first, drama will immediately follow. The line-up is:

OUR NEW DATE FOR THE 2016 SPRING DANCE CONCERT IS JUNE 2, 2016, AT 6:00 PM, IN OUR CAFETORIUM!!

On the Wednesday prior, June 1, 2016, we will have a dance rehearsal at 12:30 pm, in our cafetorium!

We are selecting a new date and will post ASAP!!!!!!

1st per. class dance: poodle skirts are provided(must wear shorts/black underneath). Girl dancers also need a black and white stripped tee shirt/solid black/solid white with a cardigan sweater(color of your choosing) ankle socks (white/pink/or color that matches cardigan), shoes can be white or black sneakers. Hair must be pulled back in a high ponytail, or half up/half down, curling and wearing a bow is optional. Boys/girls who are not wearing skirts: blue jeans/cuffed, black and white stripped tee, black/white sneakers.

 

2nd per. class dance: camouflage baseball caps are provided. All dancers are to wear a solid black tee shirt, and solid black joggers(sweat pants), black lace-up boots or black sneakers.

 

4th per. class dance: All dancers wear a combination of blue denim and black.

 

5th per. class dance, Telephone: Dancers wear a combination of black and white.

Magdelenha: Coin skirts are provided as well as hair flower accessories. Dancers must wear black thigh length shorts and a bright tank top.

 

GROUP DANCE COSTUMES ARE AGREED UPON AND PROVIDED BY EACH MEMBER OF THE GROUP. THE GROUP.

 

Due to testing, it is mandatory that we meet after school next week on Monday, April 25th and Friday, April 29th, from 3pm to 5pm. We will meet in the cafetorium.

On Friday, April 22nd, our class activity will be conducted off campus. Due to testing, we have only 10 students, who will embark on a community walk, around and near campus for a welcoming change of pace. Activity will be from 8am to 9am.

On Thursday, April 21st and Saturday April 23rd, our 5th period dance class will be conducting rehearsals for our upcoming Spring Dance Concert on May 12th. After school rehearsal will be from 3pm to 5pm, and Saturday is from 8am to 12 noon and will be split into two sessions for each dance group. Telephone is from 8 to 10am, and Magdelena is from 10 to 12 noon.

Last night I received a call from the company, On-Call Audiences, who provides us the opportunity to raise money for our program; made a minor change in our schedule. We will now leave campus by 1:00 pm and return at approximately 7:45 pm. My apologies for any inconveniences this may cause. I will wait with all students until they are picked-up.
