Course Description
Students will study the physical sciences of Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. They will engage in science Process Skills and Critical Thinking Skills essential for academic success. Topics include: Atoms to Molecules, Structure and Process of Matter, Physical and Chemical Interactions, Motion and Stability, Forces and Interactions, Energy, Earth Systems and Human Activity in Ecosystems, Engineering Design and Application.
Individual responsibilities include positive class behavior, classwork, note-taking, studying, and preparing for tests. Responsibilities when in teams include participation in lab inquiry and extended Project-Based Learning and Presentation.
