In order to be considered complete, all DBQ documents will have to have the following:
- Essential question written at the top of each page
- Thinking Notes annotations throughout the document
- A one-sentence summary of the document
- A multi-sentence response to how that specific document helps answer the essential question
***This process should be completed for each document by Friday, Sept. 16th.

This week, students are reading documents, watching video clips, and taking Cornell notes about the Lost Colony of Roanoke. The "Essential Question" or "Document-Based Question" of the week is: "What happened to the Lost Colony of Roanoke?" By the end of the week, students will use a graphic organizer to establish their own theory and to provide evidence based on the documents and videos they viewed. There will be no homework, except for student self-assigned homework for all assignments not completed in class.
