7th grade L. Arts Honors test on Tuesday, 2/2

Interested in 7th grade Language Arts Honors?
A reading and writing task will be administered on Tuesday, 2/2, from 3 - 4:30pm for those students who are interested in the 7th grade Language Arts Honors class. Students will need to complete an application (available from me) and that application will be their ticket in for the test.  Please make arrangements to be picked up after the test.  Good Luck!

Thanksgiving Break

For the week of Thanksgiving, the students have a full day on Monday, 11/23/15 and a modified day on Tuesday, 11/24/15 and a minimum day on Wednesday, 11/25/15.  There is no school on Thursday, 11/26/15, and Friday, 11/27/15.  Gooble, gobble!  Enjoy the time off!

Student-led Conferences on Wednesday, 11/4/15

Parent Conferences this year will be student-led.  Your daughter/son will be in charge of going over her/his portfolio, describing assignments, explaining the reasons for their grades while pointing out their strengths and weaknesses and answering your questions. Student-led conference focuses on the total learning experience and shifts to the importance of life-long learning.
 
Come anytime on Wednesday, 11/4/15 from 1 - 4pm and/or 5 - 7 pm.

Missing assignments for 1st quarter grading period due Thursday, 10/29

All missing assignments from the 1st quarter grading period is due by Thursday, 10/29/15 by 4 pm.
 
I will stay after school on Monday, 10/26, Tuesday, 10/27, and Thursday, 10/29, until 4 pm to give students the opportunity to make-up their assignments.
 
Missing work that is not turned in by the above due date will not be accepted after Thursday, 10/29.
 
Take this opportunity to improve your grade by turning in your missing assignments.
