College Wednesdays - wear your college attire on Wednesdays to show that we are college bound.

 

Lancer Pride Fridays - wear green or your North Park t-shirts on Fridays to show your Lancer pride.

For the 4th quarter, missing/late assignments can only be turned in during Make-up Mondays. Make-up Mondays are after school from 2:45 - 3:45pm on Mondays until Monday, May 20, 2019.

Tues., 10/23 - "Red-y to be Drug Free!"  - Wear RED.

Wed., 10/24 - "Don't do Drugs my Doods!" - Dress like your favorite MEME.

Thurs., 10/25 - "Twin-up and Don't do Drugs!" - Pair up w/friends and dress ALIKE or wear PINK for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Fri., 10/26 - "Drugs are not my Superpower!" - Dress as your favorite SUPERHERO.

Mon., 10/29 - "Sleep on Drugs!" - Wear appropriate PJ's.

Tues., 10/30 - "Kick Drugs out of the Park!" - Wear Sports Jersey or Shirt.

Wed., 10/31 - "Say BOO to Drugs!" - Wear Orange and Black.

 

Dress code still applies. Be Creative and Have Fun!

6th graders will be SBAC Testing next week.

 

It is very important to be ready for the test.

Here are a few tips to be at your BEST:

 

1) Get at least 8 hours of sleep.

2) Eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast.

3) Read the directions and each question carefully, so you know what to do and how to answer.

4) Take your time - it is not a race to finish.

5) Relax and Do Your BEST!

6) Don't forget to breathe.

Toy Drive for Spark of Love - bring in a new unwrapped toy or sports equipment by Friday, December 8, 2017.

 

Help us Spread the Holiday Spirit to those in need.

Parent Conferences is on Thursday, 10/26 from 1 - 4 pm and 5 - 7 pm. Come to conferences with your son/daughter at a time that is convenient for you.

 

Our class will participate in student-led conferences. Students will go over his/her portfolio, describing their assignments and answering your questions. Students take ownership in their work and should be able to explain the reasons for their 1st quarter grades plus point out their strengths and weakness.

 

Mark your calendar for this very important event. 

Come to our Back to School Dance on Friday, 9/15 afterschool from 2:45 - 4pm. It is open to everyone. Ticket cost is $2 and bring extra money for snacks. Come with a friend and enjoy!
